Diwali loudspeaker and music timing notice for your society

Diwali week brings parties, cultural evenings and music in the clubhouse or on the lawn. It also brings the most common festive complaint in a society: loud music late at night. Loudspeakers and public address systems outdoors are generally not allowed between 10 pm and 6 am under the noise rules, and many cities enforce this strictly in residential areas. A short notice sent before the festival (Diwali 2026 is Sunday, 8 November) lets residents plan their events and gives security a clear rule to point to.

What the notice should cover
